46 people from across the Benefice gathered this evening for a very special Benefice Harvest Service and Supper in the newly re-ordered St. Kenelm’s Church, Enstone. The nave was transformed and the Communion service took place around the tables, interspersed with a two-course meal of cottage pie with peas followed by apple pie / crumble and 6lts of custard!
It was a wonderful service made all the more special by the people who cooked delicious food, set up the Church and then cleared it all away afterwards. A fitting way to celebrate harvest in this rural part of Oxfordshire. Thank you to all those who took part and those who joined us as we gave thanks for all of God’s blessings upon us.
Photos of the evening are posted below, along with the order of service.
Well done Mark.
Brilliant.

Thank you Mark for all your efforts to make last evening a special harvest supper. Food was delicious and so good to see our ‘new ‘ church being used.
