A welcome from our Rector
I’m so glad you’ve found us. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.
We’re a lively, inclusive church community in North Oxfordshire. Ours is a thoughtful, reflective outlook, making room for doubt and questioning alongside certainty. As members of Inclusive Church, we’re delighted to welcome and celebrate LGBTQ+ people fully,
including blessing same-sex marriages and civil partnerships.
Join us on a Sunday
We worship together as a Benefice each week, moving around our four village churches on a monthly rota. Two services are offered each Sunday: a quiet 8am Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, and a 10am Communion from Common Worship with hymns, followed by coffee and a chat. Everyone is welcome at either — details of these services are here. We look forward to meeting you.
Can’t make it in person?
Each week we also produce a short reflective online service — of around 15–20 minutes, including a Gospel reading, a brief sermon, a hymn and intercessions. We’ve offered this every Sunday since Easter 2020, and it continues to be watched by around 80 people weekly. Simply click on the links below to view this week’s service. Bookmark this page and come back each Sunday for the latest one!

The churches of the Chase Benefice are committed to safeguarding children and young people, vulnerable adults and those in abusive relationships. We aim to create a safe environment where children and young people are nurtured and protected and where all people, especially those who may be vulnerable for any reason, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and in safety.
